Four men are still missing in the West Virginia mine disaster........ 25 men are now known to be dead............. a tiny ray of hope remains for the missing ........ heres hoping.............

This picture of Charleston's golden river in the early morning light .......... I made as I flew from there by helicopter over to a coal mine linked to the one that has suffered this terrible disaster........... because I have visited mines down there over a period of years now I feel an affinity with those miners....... with those mining communities......... and I still feel greatly saddened and moved by the fate of these men and the devastating effect this will have on their families and community.
