Weirdly I have no cameras ....... yeah no cameras...... I gave them to Fixation to be cleaned....... I've done that before but never for a couple of days over the weekend .......... I have the overwhelming feeling that the Queens helicopter will crash land on the road in front of me........ or Time Magazine will ring with an exclusive interview picture to be shot with Gordon Brown on Sunday......... er..... what was going on in my brains............ handing over my gear for a weekend ....... normally when I hand over the cameras I then hang out in a local cafe until they are done......... Well it was the only way....... the only way to get them done before I end up in Chicago......... and I still have a couple of little cameras on me....... well 3 other little cameras actually..... I dunno why I am worried.......hey....... I can have the weekend off? Right......? Yeah...!?!!. ...... Whats wrong with that..... ???? Arrrrrgggggghhhhhhh its no good Im hyperventilating....... Im having a panic attack.......... no real cameras all weekend.......... Calm..... Calm..... Calm....... hehehehehe......... :-) :-) :-)
Today was a beautiful day....... I was in Central London......... not down by the Forest of Dean and the Welsh border where I shot this in the past...... in the Wye Valley......... but still it was one of those lovely days with sunshine and clouds...... I love days like this....... I remember shooting this and feeling lucky......... you know lucky to be a photographer....... lucky to be alone watching the changing light on this amazing field of yellow with patches of sunlight and the distant storm clouds coming .......... but also just lucky to be in England. Sometimes its great to be back here....... sometimes i find I still really love the old place....... :-))

PS....... Fields of Gold.......er...... well very yellow gold....... this rather shocking yellow crop is Oilseed Rape
PPS....... 'Fields of Gold' by Sting again for Lynda and mining families especially in West Virginia............... this area around the Forest of Dean has abandoned historic drift mines from all the way back to Roman times and some modern mines too............ http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Fields+of+Gold/2zxOSn
