Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. "Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns!" he said: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.

"Forward, the Light Brigade!" Was there a man dismayed? Not tho' the soldiers knew Someone had blundered: Theirs was not to make reply, Theirs was not to reason why, Theirs was but to do and die: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.

Extract from 'Charge of the Light Brigade' By Alfred Lord Tennyson

Sometimes you wait too long........... then the light is gone.........

Another image from The Tennyson Memorial.

I was back in our old stomping ground this evening ......... back in the vicinity of Coronet St were one of the original Insight offices operated from....... in now trendy Hoxton....... it was a bit more grim back then......... tonight I went to 'Shoreditch House' which appears very similar to its flash sister 'Soho House NYC'........ we had none of these trendy clubs around us when we operated out of that area..........

It all feels familiar if a bit more yuppie........ but it all seems a long time ago now...........

Cheers Jez XXXXXXX

PS...... sorry the poetry keeps bunching up instead of keeping the lines as they were written
