Dials measuring the number of hits on Jezblog were going a little crazy yesterday........ I was completely honored to discover the Fox TV anchor Greta Van Susteren had recommended to readers of her blog Greta Wire that they should take a peek at Jezblog....... well many thanks to you Greta Im so happy you enjoyed the images enough to pass on that recommendation........ and thanks so much to all of Greta's readers and fans that dropped by especially those of you who left such thoughtful kind messages........

This image tonight looks sort of glamorous but is taken just sitting at the wheel in a NJ gas station in the middle of the night........ half way between NYC and DC....... mostly I take the train but very occasionally I end up driving because I have to shoot something in Delaware or NJ or I have a mega ton of kit....... if I drive .... what with one thing and another I never end up setting out till 9 or 10PM...... so its always 2AM in gas stations in NJ........ stopping for a joyous healthy mix of coffee and Red Bull....... it reminds me of the photographers life in Britain where we hardly ever flew anywhere inside Britain.... or indeed caught the train...... yeah grim petrol stations in the middle of the night...... cans of Red Bull....... have that slight feeling of de-jar-vu for me...... kind of almost feels like home.
