The Flags are being lowered...... the campaign is over........ as we now know the battle is lost .......... the flags of the USA must be handled properly under force of law....... but the Romney flag also gets the same loving treatment as it is lowered even though this is likey the last time it will ever be flown.........

I actually shot this the day before the results were known ....... but I had a vibe that I should make a poignent image to illustrate the ending of the Romney campaign ........ so I waited after he and all his supporters had left ........ Shortly the riggers came to break down the set..........

I just waited without asking permission or speaking to anyone. Eventually they started to take down the flags and I made this picture.

I did chat to some of the riggers later as I went to leave ......... they were fun young guys mostly of South American descent I would guess ........ they were all heading back home to California now the Campaign was over.......... they had all built and dismantled scores of stages for the Romney campaign ....... but they were all ......... every single one in the group I spoke to....... supporters of President Obama ......... how we all laughed as I pointed this out :-)))))))))
