I have as I was telling you the other day a pretty well developed fear of snakes.......... Matt on the other hand is not afraid of snakes....... but he is afraid of heights....... but thats not really his true phobia........ no....... his phobia........ is having to touch another mans pants........ (undies.... under garments...... for anyone American mistaking the word pants for trousers hehehe) ...........

Yeah Matt does not wish to deal with under garments of another man under any circumstance........... and just as he allowed himself a little giggle when I rang him clearly panicking during the snake in the house incident of the other day.......... yeah.... I allowed myself just a tiny little giggle today when he discovered I was already a hundred miles away....... having accidentally left him a dryer load of my undies............ sure it was a drag to have to buy more socks and undies at a mall ......... but worth every penny of the cost to hear the panic in his voice on the realization I wasn't coming back.......... hehehehe.......... :-))

I shot this well beyond the point of no return for misplaced undies......... in South Carolina........ an amazing storm was rolling in........... the lightening was crackling in the sky like incredible veins there was an ominous sensation with the oncoming squall ......... It was beginning to rain ....... it was just minutes before the full on down pour began........ the guy in the black car pulled up his vehicle steaming he lifted the hood then hurried away to get water for the engine............

Jeanette Jacobs has run this truck stop with her family for 35 years....... she told me proudly it was the last of the old style truck stops in South Carolina.
