Obama's health care reform seemed to be looking good first thing on Wednesday winning a crucial committee vote with the support of a single Republican........... but it was all looking more wobbly again by the end of the day ........ I am a little depressed by the prospect of 'Health care reform'....... 'without a public option'...... ie./ reform......... with no change.

It occurs to me some level of public health care is absolutely necessary if you are ever going to have anything approaching decent health care for all........ but hey Im well European on this....... I don't quite see the attraction of bankruptcy as the natural accompaniment to serious illness...........

My photo processing software could use a little free health care too ......... so here is one I prepared earlier......... of Valerie in Atlanta.......... who is dependent on the Red Cross for her health care crucially the blood transfusions she needs........
