A busy busy day down here in West Virginia ....... I have been in deep coal mines...... mines are always such an assault on your senses........ its incredible to be underground walking in the mud and water the roof held up by pillars of coal...... its pretty amazing.... the sound the darkness ......... its exhausting..... respect to those men working down there...... Thats a tough job....... Sorry I cant put up the images from the assignment......... Here is an image made on route between the mines in the West Virginia woods in the vicinity of Charleston. Got to sleep ...... Im shooting from a helicopter tomorrow........ Don't want to fall asleep and fall out!
