Today is the 3 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina....... and now they are beginning an evacuation in New Orleans as another Hurricane looms........ The new hurricane : Gustav is gaining power and now threatens Cuba..... Gustav has already killed 80 people or more in Jamaica, Haiti, The DR and the Cayman Islands.

Kayla Watson, the young girl pictured above is returning to the site of where her home stood for the very first time after the Katrina storm has passed.... She and her family will never forget the shock and misery of that day.

Matt and I went down there to see the resulting damage and the rescue and recovery effort....... it was not the sort of trip either of us are likely to forget in a hurry either.
