I stepped over the dunes then saw this amazing sky........ I had earlier decided to walk without a camera partly cos it was raining....... partly cos its great to walk without any stuff once in a while ........ OK bad move...... I saw this sky and really wanted a camera.......... so then I remembered the camera in my iphone....... so what if I cant hold it straight..... this is partly cos it was really raining...... and therefore I had to get on with it before it breaks down in the rain... (.. a guy in the Apple storestore once told me never never get the iphone wet..) .... but it held up pretty well........ and it managed to record this amazing scene in a reasoable way ....... a couple of minutes after this it was totally bucketing down...... just totally mega pouring....... I got completely soaked...... it was all pretty drastic...... involving flooding and power outages....... and even sadly other people out on the beach further down Long Island were struck by lightening....... fortunately I understand they all survived.
