Last night I ended up driving down the i95 from NYC to DC............ it was incredibly hot and humid........ with the constant oppressive threat of rain............ the storm was brewing....... the lightening lit up in the mean clouds on the horizon ahead.......but I didn't make pictures as I thought any time soon the rain will come....... then I will shoot....... and after that I will have to drive slow in the rain........ up until then I might as well put on the cop radar detectors and really get rolling.............. to at least get through a fair bit of the distance in the dry ........ in the end I pulled into DC at just gone 1AM...... I heard it had really rained in DC....... but it never did rain on me............ and I did not shoot on the journey at all......... but I enjoyed it anyway........ I love lightening and storms...... I love to drive fast towards the big storm brewing on the horizon ahead.......
