This boy maybe only 7 or 8 years old was hit by an NYC yellow cab tonight in Manhattan. His father was was so anguished and furious that he beat up the taxi driver. The medics used their stretcher as a giant splint and rushed the child off to hospital by ambulance, keeping his head and spine straight. I am not sure of the condition of this boy, no one at the scene knew for sure. I just really hope he recovers, it is so devastatingly sad to see a child completely still lying in the road.
