She has become one of those size 0 models!

Im back in the Big City having battled my way through Gangster City Chicago on United.

Ah...... the joys of United Airlines....... North West have said they are gonna charge for isle seats but not United........... thats far too upfront..... no they prefer a more opaque system that operates more like a protection racket..... when you go to check in they are "unable to allocate you a seat until you arrive at the gate"..........er......... unless you want to upgrade of course ?.......to premium economy that is sir?.......er...... you are already paying $950 to fly from Baltimore to Omaha and back to NYC...... so the upgrade gets you what exactly?..... well...... er..... .uhhmmmm.......... well a seat of course.... in economy? Yeah basically they are running a little protection racket so they are are not able to allocate you a seat unless you pay a bit extra...... the protection money sorry I mean the upgrade.....an extra $50 bucks..... to guarantee you a seat on a flight that you are nominally already confirmed on....... er? So if you don't pay the protection money/upgrade they will not allocate you a seat until you get to the gate ....... and even then you of course stand the highest chance of being bumped off and you are certainly sitting in the middle seat and getting on very last of all..... unless you would like to upgrade of course sir?...... to an ordinary seat in economy sir? Come come..... lets be reasonable shall we?.....having a confirmed ticket is one thing...... but having a boarding card with a seat number is something else......am i right?.......well now you have a ticket but now you want a boarding card with a seat number?......so we need to come to a little arrangement.......Its not so much mister..... you pay the money we treat you alright.... you no pay the money..... well........it might be bad for you....... you know what I am saying?..... right?....... its no threat........you just never know......... something bad might happen........ you no pay we will have to see?...... yes if you don't pay a little extra we might not be there to help you.........know what Im sayin? ........ Im not so sure its gonna end good for you mister...... you get my drift? ......Do the right thing mister...... pay the money and no one needs to get hurt or bumped off........and remember we know where you live..... yeah thats right........ if you don't pay the money Im not sure we are gonna take you there...... and you wouldn't want that.. would you?..... it being Friday an all ..... how about the upgrade Sir?
