According to newly released research........ In the end Neanderthals died out because they gave too much priority to the visual ......... their eyes were literally too big .......... the visual parts of their brains developed at the expense of the other bits........... so our Homo sapien ancestors were able to dominate and get rid of the Neanderthals basically because the Homo sapiens had a less visual approach and consequentially more brain space for other types of thinking ........... hmmmmmmmmmmm............ Well........ I guess it was good for us humans that we evolved as we did.......... But........ I have to say ........ I feel more than a little bit of sympathy with those Neanderthal folks who spent so much time concentrating on what it all looked like that they forget about other practical considerations .............. Lets face it ......... I today must have more Neanderthal in me than most.......... :-))

Here is a picture I made at a memorial to those who died at this location in Waco........ To those who died during the FBI siege and storming of the Branch Davidian community holed up in their compound led at the time by David Koresh ........... how that all came about .......... Well ......... logically....... I am not sure I can really answer ............ I am not going to even attempt it in a written or verbal form ........... but I did make an image that tries to convey something of the ambience of the place now ............ as you see above ..........
