White smoke ......... a fittingly up-to-date way of announcing the new Pope .............

The first Pope from South America........ the first for one thousand years not from Europe.............

He seems like a slightly more humble, simple guy than you might expect ...... certainly he appears to have lived a more under stated life........ preferring to take the bus rather than having a chauffeur driven car....... an apartment rather than a palace .............. Hey at least he was not ever in the Hitler Youth ......... thats got to be an improvement...........

Hopefully he can stop the child rape and other scandals that have come out in recent times.
