My old mate Ken Lukowiak rang me from Colchester (near London UK) on Friday....... "get over here now I am doing the last of my one man shows".......... but sadly I was a little over committed to get there that day ..... he had only given me a couple of hours notice in the way Ken does :-)))))))) ....... hopefully there will be more shows soon ....... I would be amazed I am sure...... to see Ken on stage performing an adaption of his acclaimed book " A Soldiers Song" about his part in the Falklands War ......... He fought as a British Paratrooper in all the major battles of the war...........

By coincidence I see today the people living on the Falkland Islands / Malvinas are taking part in a referendum to monitor their position on the sovereignty of the Islands.......... They are expected to vote to remain British .......... The photograph above I made way back when I was on the Falklands with Ken ........ I'm guessing the residents of this household are likely to vote against becoming a part of Argentina........
