A floating Mercedes......... not everyday you see that.......... I thought on numerous occasions the same fate would befall The Beast Car facing the oncoming hurricane Sandy ........ At one point....... The only open exit out of Ocean City involved driving through a massive stretch of water around 2 ft deep ....... OK if you have an SUV........ But the Beast ? ....... it's going to struggle and drown....... In the end Matt found it a parking structure in Ocean City ....... A multi storey car park so we could face the overnight hurricane vaguely protected ....... I put The Beast on the 4th floor....... As I was only on the 3rd floor of the hotel ......... I was thinking if the Beast cops for it........ that will be the least of my worries.......... cos I will already be swimming myself in an inundated hotel .......... the storm raged so did the sea....... we were pretty close to the eye wall as it came ashore ........ Ocean City took a bit of a battering but me the Beast and our chosen Hotel were fine........... not so much the Mercedes :-( ........
