Another amazing day on the beach in the Hamptons........... sorry to do your head in with casual shots from my vacation ....... hehehehe........... not classic beach weather........... but some sun with ultra dramatic skies then some rain......... then sun again......... I saw dolphins in the sea ......... and I met my old mate JZ on the beach late on quite by chance ........... later over drinks he foolishly engaged me on my fave topic of press regulation and clipping the wings of press freedom to accommodate celebrities and their privacy demands....... this became a heated debate...... but he said he heard for the first time proper arguments that made him think about the importance of properly independent ferocious newspapers not tame pretend newspapers like the French are reading because of their draconian privacy laws......... anyway JZ further to our conversation read this.......... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2176179/As-ageing-hack-Im-hardly-impartial-But-I-terrible-fear-Lord-Leveson-doesnt-comprehend-purpose-Press.html about the fear that the Leveson enquiry might destroy British newspapers with well meaning red tape and anti press freedom measures.
