I was lucky enough to attend the launch of the book that is a collaboration between photographer Masayoshi Sukita and the music artist David Bowie.......... 'Speed of Life' A photography book that chronicles 40 years of the career of David Bowie with a special emphasis on his relationship with Japan ........ Sadly Bowie was not there....... apparently he rarely leaves NYC these days ......... but Jimmy Page of mega Led Zep fame was there........ Unfortunately, I didn't even get to speak to Masayoshi........ Never mind Jimmy ...... it was pretty packed event ...... but I did speak to one or two other famed Bowie fans...... notably Gary Kemp of mega Spandau Ballet fame........ :-))))))) The book is fantastic....... Beautiful !!! ........ a totally unique amazing quality item ....... And you I'm sure it is an investment too....... as it is a very limited edition containing a specially pressed picture disk ......... each book is signed by Bowie and Sukita ........ Like I say I feel sure it actually would be a proper investment growing in value once it is sold out ...... but it is certainly not a cheap book at 360 pounds UK .......... It is available through the publisher Genesis who are really renown for these rare.. amazing high production value limited edition books...... things of complete beauty ...... http://www.genesis-publications.com

PS...... Thanks to those who have emailed corrections to my spelling of the name of a rock legend ...... come on it was 2AM....... It was the end of a long day........ I'd had a few drinks....... I was tired and emotional ........ Page it's a difficult name......... hehehehe....... I am not worthy..... :-))) XX
