I was gonna roll out and meet Matt at the girls soccer team he coaches on Saturday mornings. I was supposed to shoot a nice team photo after the game for them all . But sadly by the time I arrived much drama and emergency vehicles were in evidence. So instead of doing the team photos I end up at the local hospital with "Bird" as she is known....... and her family....... sadly her glasses were caught by the ball and somehow the glasses frame as it broke gave her a terrible gash on her forehead.......... Anyway after X-rays and wound cleaning...... and seven stitches later....... she was looking like this........ :-(((((( .......... The doctor was very impressed by her maturity and bravery...... she said half the boys...... injured (American) football players are screaming their heads off with less reason......... anyway they did a good job of patching her up........ the doctor reckons the stitches will be out and she can return to playing soccer in a week....... and there should be no scar if they are careful to keep suntan creams over the new skin blah blah......... anyway instead of being a relaxing game of soccer it was drama drama.......... especially for poor 'Bird' ........ hey hopefully she will be all fixed up and scoring more goals again very soon ........ the only good news is at least the team went on to win four nil ........ With 'Bird' back in full flight they will be completely unstoppable :-)))
