Its Michael Jackson's birthday. If he were alive...... The King of Pop........ would be 52 today.

I was at his house in Gary Indiana today. His childhood home. A very modest house indeed...... it seemed big enough to be only two rooms.

His Father was there. I think he may have recently bought the house back. He seemed an odd character. I was twice asked by his entourage people to pay to make photographs. I think they were selling photo ops with the Michael Jackson impersonator........ I refused to pay........... I watched Joe Jackson the father seemingly challenging a young neighbor who might be selling unofficial T-shirts but using the word official ......... I don't know I guess it felt a little orientated towards financial considerations ............. this seemed somehow less than the pure remembrance I was expecting ........... but hey...... what do I know about showbiz.
