Part 1........... 8-00PM . ..... Well its been one of those classic travelling days where nothing goes right. I was just about to leave my place in the city when I get a text from Delta saying the midday flight was pushed back to 2PM........ so I think I'll have another cup of coffee......... but then I remember Im on some mad flight that changes in Detroit ...... not a direct flight to New Orleans....... so then I think I'd better speed it up get to the airport and maybe catch another flight to somewhere else to pick up a connection to the Big Easy. So I hassle over to JFK by yellow cab....... but the best they can do when I arrive is a 4PM flight to the big ATL...... then fly on to NO at 9PM......... in the end although we board the the ATL bound flight at 4-30PM...... it just hangs about on the ground till 6-30PM cos the air space is closed due to storms.......... so now I'm writing this sitting on a flight to Atlanta....... it will touchdown at just before 9PM ........ but will probably mean that I will just miss my connection out of Atlanta just like I would have if I'd carried on to Detroit.......... anyway the bags will never make it thats for sure even if I run like mad ...... and I would'nt mind betting thats the last one out to NO tonight......... ah the joy of it all......... :-/ :-) :-))

Part 2........... 11-00 PM ........ A bit of luck at last!!!........ Im on the flight to New Orleans.......... luckily this plane from Atlanta to New Orleans was delayed till 10-20 PM so I made it............ :-))

Part 3........ 3-30 AM ........ Finally Im in the Holiday Inn in the French Quarter New Orleans...... even the bags made it thanks to priority handling........ according to my computers clock it's 4-30AM......... no wonder I'm tired.
