I was up at MoMA with Amin and Jocelyn........ Amin was helping me shoot something of Jocelyn which I needed........ so when that was done and Jocelyn had dashed off to play tennis..... me and Amin had lunch with Candy...... then he and I rolled back to MoDA to check out a few of the shows....... its not right for me to be at MoDA and not check out the Henri Cartier-Bresson show for starters........... that was great very extensive........ but I am pretty acqainted with Cartier-Bressen's work........ I am a lot less familiar with the work of Marina Abramovic......... she was great ....... astounding even........ Amin loves her......... some of her previous stuff was pretty disturbing....... but I enjoyed her current piece "The Artist is Present'....... er........ apart from the...... No Photography....... thing........ that always bugs me....... forces me to want to shoot....... I always like to document the 'No Photography' sign at least.

The rest of the day had a ton more drama........ near fights....... near arrests....... sneaking in to be amongst hundreds of taxis at LaGuardia Airport........ more near arrests....... fab new friends like Toufik the driver who snuck me into LGA............ it was one of those evenings when more nutty adventures followed each barmy episode........ great cops on horse back....... problems with different cops....... attack by nutter....... drama at Penn great taxi drivers at Penn....... unexpectadly off to LGA......... it really was just a mad evening.......... the type you can only have if you are a slightly over keen photojourno type and if you are carrying way too many expensive cameras............ suffice to say its now 2AM....... probably time to call it a day and get some kip........ especially as I have to work tomorrow. But maybe I fill u in on some of the drama later .... another time......... :-))
