The on board announcement declares this to be the end of the line. The last stop for the E train downtown at the World Trade Center. All passengers must disembark. But this chap does not, he sleeps on.

I can remember when I was doing a course at what was at one point The Kent Institute of Art in Chatham, I had a bad habit of doing the same. I was working at Report/IFL on Oxford St, I would dash over to Victoria station to catch the last train at midnight. Get on board then immediately struggle to stay awake....... then be sleeping clutching my cameras.

Because this last train stopped at every other lamp post what was normally a half an hour journey would take an hour and a half.

Next thing you know the motion and sound of the train was strangely absent. All was quiet apart from a strange screeching....... er....... SEAGULLS!!!!!!!!........ Oh No!!!!! ....... I was in Dover Western Docks again....... the end of the line on the South Coast. It was 4 AM and no train would be returning to Chatham till 6AM......... AAAAAAAggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................

I decided I would not let this chap just sleep on........ He thanked me for waking him...... but he had no intention of getting off....... he was content to sleep on........ and ride up an down on the E train all night.
