Today I went for a walk on Hampstead Heath. You get amazing views across London from up at the top of the Heath up there on Parliament Hill. According to a blue plaque George Orwell used to live in a little house close to the top of the Heath. I can imagine getting space for a bit of true inspiration and deep political thought on the nature of man and society while facing into the wind...... well only if my name was really Eric Blair and I was strolling out from my house up there :-)) ..........

Still, thats hardly likely to happen to me........ but I could have made an amazing picture of Canary Wharf Tower..... tallest building in the UK glistening in the fading light ...... if I had taken a decent camera with me......... I know its rare for me not to have a proper DSLR camera on me....... but hey, sometimes its great just to walk without one............ just to not have the weight of it for a bit .........

But I could take it no more......... fantastic picture opportunities were being missed left right and center......... in the end I had to take out my iPhone and shoot with that......... :-)) ........... OK its not done with the mighty Canon resolution ..... but hey.............. this is not too bad for a camera phone shot :-))
