Well Happy Guy Fawkes Night to you all........ its a rather odd British thing thats been going on 400 years........ but I understand its all being done in by importing a US style Halloween....... well Guy Fawkes night is predicated on some rather dodgy ideology but basically just revolves around big bonfires fireworks and sausages and beer these days........ so I watched some fireworks and had some beer and sausages....... :-))

Here is a red black cab I saw today in Camden...... the black cabs are no where near as uniform as they were....... most are still black..... but a large minority are red, silver, grey or blue........ or have advertising or other stuff on them....... the black cabs are not as universally black as they were by any means ......... strictly speaking they are easier to photograph when they are not black....... but generally I am a bit of a cab traditionalist...... so this change away from black is good and bad....... I am conflicted.
