Well, I am in Paris the weather has been amazing......... sure I have to stick to the business at hand..... which cannot appear on the blog....... but I got a short time in the early evening to drift about and take in the beautiful City. This is a picture of the prayer candles in Notre Dame Cathedral.........

I have some serious problems with my computer right now..... I appear to have introduced some kind of conflicts..... So I can't open half my useful programs........ I should have lit a candle myself said a prayer maybe done a confession even .......... father I have sinned ...... well quite a lot over the years....... oh and its been forever since my last confession in fact I have never confessed to anything...... but if you could see your way to returning the good Karma to my computer ...... dude I'd be way happy.......... and if you could use your influence with the infinite power in the universe to fix the wifi in my hotel....... dude that would be truly awesome.......

Funnily enough this picture and the one of Cosmo in the dentists chair have had to be processed in photo-mechanic........ that means basically only edited then converted from RAW to JPEG ............ no messing about with settings and color controls, contrast, saturation, or burning in, sharpening, or anything ....... basically no manipulation or adjustments...... would they be better run through photoshop?....... er..... yeah.... sure....... but not so much...... and it sort of proves to me....... the main skill.... for me at least .... remains getting the pictures right in the camera...... it's not correct to be too heavily dependent on photoshop........ in my humble view.... hehehe........ :-))

PS........ Drunken soccer fans yelling outside....... its 1-30AM on a Saturday night in a big European City....... nothing changes........ well everything changes actually ...... its nice to know some stuff remains unchanged.... :-))
