I am up in Camden London again today......... as ever there was a pile of crusty types drinking beer, singing and generally messing about up by the Lock on the Canal........

Funnily enough I always associate travelers with a period of my life a while back...... I don't really think of travelers as a contemporary phenomena ........ I always think back to when I ended up shooting assignments that had me at classic clashes between 'New Age Travelers' and the police........ at Stonehenge and Glastonbury etc...... sometimes it was easy to connect with the travelers other times they would deal with you as their view of a generic right wing journalist...... sometimes even picking fleas out of their clothing and flicking them at you.........

This image was made back in the day on a travelers site underneath the M40 link Rd....... Nottinghill in London....... Its over 12 years back..... the little girl will be all grown up now........ I hope she is still doing OK......
