Here is another image from last nights road trip....... Charleston WV to Atlanta GA......... It took us from West Virginia through Tennessee and Kentucky and finally on to Georgia .......... thats a pretty long way in one night ....... over 500 miles......... so we needed to stop at a couple of gas stations as you can imagine ......... this gas station just struck me as a perfect representation of modern Americana........ but displaying some of the recognizable core history of its type....... sort of referring back to the gas stations of the 50's and onwards........... this place is it seems to me kind of archetypal of road travel in the USA.
