The rest of Britain appeared to be drowning with 2 inches of rain falling rather rapidly in some parts but weirdly the good ol' I of W managed to largely avoid the rain........ even having sun....... though it was apparently forecast to be like the rest of the country........ and to be fair .... it is now incredibly stormy here at 1AM as I am parked in my car blogging........ using the slightest hint of wifi seeping out from the closed up for the night Gossips cafe........ they should go 24 hours......... its still a mighty place........ best on the Island by far....... and they are kind enough to leave the network up for customers who love them enough to check in on their premises for them in the middle of a dark and stormy night.
In this image from today ...... Cousins Cosmo and Kamal are happily looking for crabs and dinosaur footprints in the rock pools as the tide goes out on Hanover Point on the south western shore of the Isle of White........
Its true about the dinosaurs.......... weirdly the I of W is listed by National Geographic as one of the seven most important place for dinosaur finds in the world......... and they are still now unearthing new finds of footprints and skeletons today.......... who knew that?
