Washington's Continental Army had regrouped on the lawn facing the river to blast the Brits with cannon fire and rifle shot. I did myself the favor of not talking too much and giving away my origins......... hehehehe..........

I heard Washington give a rousing speech to his troops........... I was struck by one sentence the actor spoke........ speaking in realtime as it were........ Washington stated we are literally the only country in the world not to be ruled by a King or Queen or Tsar or a Tsarina........... thats mega when you think about it........ America invented itself with no other similar States to emulate.... with no examples to follow....... An amazing system of government and justice was conceived of........ and brought forth...... and went on to be the model that many others have followed since........ Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!

PS........ Not so impressed by the daylight fireworks....... but they would have been perfect for radio.
