So I got a flat........ pretty depressing on the I95 North bound during the Sunday Night crush back into NYC.... in the rain..... in the dark....... and I had so much junk in the van it was hard to access the spare wheel..... and it was raining just so hard...... I thought about just sitting there for a while waiting for it to stop raining like crazy....... at least then I wouldn't have to get a whole pile of kit out and put it on the tarmac in the rain just to access the spare wheel....... in the end its a pretty dangerous place to sit ...... on the shoulder with the traffic thundering by..... so I thought really I'd better get on with it........ so I piled all the gear out in the rain so it all got soaked ...... managed to get at the spare.... changed the flat....... got pretty wet and depressed myself ....... then rolled on up through NJ...... Im now in NYC.

So I have now brought all the kit from the DC office to the NYC office......... Im still thinking of rolling directly down to the big ATL to take Matt a van load of negatives and transparencies to his Atlanta operations...... its a long way but it would be good to see some of that old stuff have a new lease of life in digital format..... I could FedEx it all but is a pretty important chunk of my work....... Nah......... Better keep the old road trip season rolling.

Im shooting here in NYC tomorrow/today Monday then Id better hit the road South again heading for the big ATL, to see Matt and hopefully better weather...... and heres hoping for roads without nails on.
