Yesterday.... Andrea said she wanted to see an image I made in the critical minutes between light and darkness...... after I was waxing on about 'the blue time'......... the time where the tungsten and neon lights of the city are on and it feels like darkness but some light is still present in the sky........ my fave time to shoot...... it happens twice a day at dawn and at dusk...... Im not so good at shooting dawn just cos I have to be up early....... not one of my fave activities...... normally I only photograph dawn ...... if its part of an assignment that needs it or if I am still up from the night before............ but most days I shoot as the evening light fades into the night...... I shot this image above a week or so back when I was last in NYC....... at the junction of 23rd St and 8th Av my usual hang out ......... as the day fades in to night and the taxis of the city just keep on rolling.

I am very interested in photographing at this time ......... if you go back through the blog you will see there are many more examples than the few I have chosen above !
