I had asked if I could stand on their steps to look over at the view from this small slightly dilapidated apartment block. Then I saw that the young man was silhouetted against the dusk sky and framed through his paneled glass door. He seemed to be in a reverie..... still and unaware as I made this picture

PS......... I was just fiddling about on the net when I came accross the blog of my ol mate Drew Gardener........ I know him from way back when we were photographers on the Sunday Correspondent.......then he worked on the Sunday Telegraph while I worked at The Obsever....... he was vaguely involved with Insight my agents at one stage..... he has really gone on to specialize in very personal engineered images....... pretty amazing well worth a peek..... watch the video.....really impressive and funny....... : : The Photographic world of Drew Gardner
