I put up a message on the blog for Lee........ one of my old 'Brummy' friends from back in the day.......... telling him I was working in Brum yesterday.........Yeah... Birmingham....... but not Birmingham UK ....... (my home town and Lee's) ........ no I was working in Birmingham Alabama ......... but Alabama was not playing its usual role......... it was raining and cold........ At the end of a exhausting day I looked out across this light industrial scene with the slight air of melancholy that comes with drizzling wet weather and it suddenly reminded me of the industrial scenes of my home city in my youth ........ well I never thought the weather in Birmingham Alabama could put me in mind of Birmingham UK.
