I am continuing the personal mission to back-up and file everything properly......... so I continue to look through old material from earlier this year....... i remember this day in Denver so clearly.

A mega storm is coming im just outside Denver........ I can hear from way off in the distance the wail of the tornado warning sirens. Its weird to stand on this open piece of dusty land with the wind getting up by the side of the road...... the odd car is passing but you feel completely alone. I'd better make a speedy get away soon I was thinking.......... but immediately I am about to leave i saw these amazing hints of light below the wall of cloud .......... I will just shoot this before I roll ........... by the time I finally get in the car it really is pretty windy so i dive in the car and roll.

The rain is so heavy that on both sides it seems to block the light....... this is not a photographic technique...... there is no burning in on this print......... this is how it looked at the time.

PS..... For a sound track to this image that I was gonna post up the top through twitter.........I was thinking 'Purple Rain' by Prince or maybe BS's 'Darkness on the Edge of Town' then I saw me old mate meat99 was recomending a cover of the Darkness by this Garage band...... his comment was this is what God invented the internet for........ hehehehe.......
