The auto bailout bill........ will it... won't it ....go ahead.......... Its looking very likely they will get some kind of bridge loan...... maybe 14 billion much less than they hoped for....... well no doubt if they get it......... all the problems with the the Detroit big 3's cars will be over........ er........ like this Crown Vic from Ford overheating........I doubt we will see this kind of thing again........... er........... well maybe there will be a slight difference anyway............ hehehehe.......

Im entirely used to car companies failing ........ I expect it...... it seems natural to me....... they gradually go down dragging with them a whole pile of government cash and suppliers........ Im a Brummy we watched our car companies fail and die in Birmingham UK back while I was a kid. The government tried to prop them up by helpful well intentioned loans and grants ,one off write offs, advice etc........ eventually fully nationalizing them........ they continued to lose money throughout and eventually were shut down. Maybe its all gonna be different this time................ ???

PS....... In fairness to Ford their finances are in slightly better shape than the remaining big 2....... Chrysler and GM....... they badly need that cash........... and their execs look pretty wasted and desperate............
