Even though we had similar horrible incidents in Britain......... I can't help it ..... I regard school shootings to be a uniquely American phenomena .......... so I was shocked and saddened to learn of todays college campus massacre of innocent students in Finland........ 10 people died in a horrible shooting incident that reminded me of the VTech killings of last year.......... As in the Virginia Tech incident the gunman killed people with legally held hand guns and left self recorded video messages like a suicide bomber......... I was amazed to read that after America then Yemen........ Finland has the third most heavily armed general population in the world........ and had suffered a similar tragic incident only last year ...... weird and depressing in equal measure.
