I like to arrive the night before a shoot........ so Im often picking up my rental car as the sun sets of the airport were ever I am....... tonight Im in Detroit..... this image is made from the Hertz compound looking up at the amazing sky.

PS..... Im listening to the BBC as always while Im putting up this picture....... AlItalia the Italian National Airline is losing $3 million a day ....... this kind of figure used to sound just unimaginable.... but when you hear the rest of the news...... about the $185 billion that has been pumped into financial liquidity by Central Banks worldwide and the trillions that might be required by any RTC rescue package coming out of Congress...... Alitalia\'s continuing daily loss seems pretty under control and sort of minimal in comparison.......
