I shot some pretty interesting stuff today on assignment here in Austin Texas ..... but sadly I can't put any of it up ....... until the client organization has used it at least...... so here is an image from the slither of the day when I was not on assignment as it were........ the drive to the hotel from the shoot........ I made this a couple of hours ago from the car just after sunset....... I have to be back at the airport at 6-30 AM tomorrow ....... the joy of it all.

PS..... By listening to the BBC World Service I discover Texas has controversially executed another non-American today...... amazingly I didn't know it had happened because I was listening to local Texas Radio news in the car as the sat radio was not working........... You got to hand it to the BBC .... I also discovered Tskinvali the capital of the break-away region of South Osetia (in the old USSR) is now being shelled by Georgian forces........ This is a place I have been to in the dim and distant past....... so Im interested in this news too......... I always pay extra to get sattelite radio in the rental car so you can get the BBC to know whats going on ...... I do like NPR but some cities only appear to have it on for a couple of hours a day....... their public Radio stations just play classical music the rest of the day...... that drives me crazy if I am on a long drive with just local stations....... maybe its just cos Im a Brit...... but I say you can't beat the BBC just for breadth of coverage and its constant up to date output.
