Keeping up the DC theme.. and the National Cathedral in particular.... here is another image from my trip to the shining Cathedral on the Hill........ its a magnificent place...... I love it...... it reminds me of England.... in fact..... its a modern replica of Canterbury Cathedral....... the sermon I heard was about not getting swept away by the commercialism of America and Christmas ....... fair enough I guess..... Porsche owners were weirdly singled out for special guilt tripping (in a joke way)....... luckily (er... I mean..... unfortunately) I don't own a Porsche but a guy I was sitting next to certainly did.... and was somewhat squirming. I felt it was not really that fair or credible an attack on the assembled throng's car buying dynamics and commercialism.... or any of its intrinsic rights and wrongs....... who are they to lecture Porsche owners.... after all here we all were sitting in the Ferrari of all church buildings......... hehehe !!
