This one is dedicated to Ed and Zak........ Ed Massey is one of the founders of 'Portraits of Hope' and 'Garden in Transit' .......... he has been working to try and create these flower taxis for 7 years and finally now gets to see them taking over the streets of New York........ and Zak? Zak Waters has been hassling me from London for the last year or so on this blog to take an overhead shot of the NYC yellow cabs !! So i hope you are liking what you are seeing guys?

This was a bit of a hassle to do.......... Im in a basket of a sky lift 130 feet off the ground...... which is interesting and slightly wobbly......... and at one point it suddenly dropped 5 feet...... nearly tipping me out......... er....... I was glad of the safety cable at that point I can tell you........ and I'm glad i managed to hold on to the cameras........ that drop might have been bad for them never mind people below. ( You can see the Sky lift reflected in the windscreens of the top cabs ).

Its midnight Im on the train out of NYC for DC......... I took this same trip this morning in the other direction......... and Im going back to NYC at the end of the day tomorrow........ madness I know .......... i should just live on this train and take the occasional flight.
