Weirdly I was reading in the Washington Post this morning how some people are hostile to both the new taxi logo and the flower taxis......... er ...... what's your problem guys? I mean the logo is fine ....... and the flowers are fantastic (and temporary) ......... er ..... look if your are gonna complain about the esthetics of New York cabs being changed ........ lets move to something a little more fundamental shall we...... like the fact that they are killing off the beast cab ( Ford Crown Victoria.... as seen above ) and replacing it with a pile of different japanese vehicles..... in one foul swoop destroying both the uniformity of the fleet and its classic NYC vibe.... er...... if you are gonna complain about the destruction of the esthetic of the NYC cabs why not start with that....... leave the wonderful kids art work and the new logo out of it.

PS... I know Im doing the same as the Washington Post refering to the logo without showing an image of it...... at least, unlike them, I am showing the flower taxis...... Im in DC today..... hopefully I'll be back in Manhattan tommorrow and may be able to make a picture of the new logo starting to appear on the side of NYC cabs.
