It looks wonderful and bright with perfect sunlight here in Manhattan ........ which in a way is right ..... but the overwhelming sensation about today ...... is that it was completely and utterly freezing ..... I was wearing two massive coats, two hats, two pairs of gloves mega boots bla bla ...... but my hands were still hurting from cold when shooting despite the two pairs of gloves ....... with wind chill it is apparently -20 out there ........ and the temperature is still falling and windspeed picking up .... apparently it's the coldest weather for 20 years in NYC .......

Basically its real cold out there ........ so while out shooting I just need to keep diving in cafes to get coffee and get warm ........ Which means I end up having some great conversations with nice folks waiting for delayed trains at Penn Station ..... they having attended a conference of art academics ..... I also chatted to fashion students having a lazy Sunday in Fresh and Co .... and Brits over from Doncaster in the UK for a 'City Break' ...... all these people get into conversation with me because they are interested in my mega looking cameras and my bizarre looking knee pads ..... hehehehe....... the knee pads are a must in this weather even if I hardly actually kneel down ......... they are primarily for keeping my knees warm ....... hehehehe...... :-)))))) XXXXX

Cheers Jez XXXXXXXX
