In deference to my old mate Marxist Steve (see yesterdays comments) I've decided to post this to get him off my back...... I saw it while wandering (passively) round Oxford ...... it made me laugh..... a bit like Marxist Steve....... I guess there is a more than a grain of truth...... in the message of the Karl Marx look alike Santa..... Maybe we should curb our consumption and not just of alcohol...... not that most of us take any notice......including me...... I haven't got a mega lit up Christmas lights house that can be seen from space or anything ..... but still maybe I .... we all ought to aim at a more rational, sustainable christmas ......er........ not a very festive thought...... er...... maybe.....yeah.... maybe next year..... er... yeah right... lets now make a new years resolution that should make all the difference.
