Photography makes you live in the now........ Not fret about what degree you should have taken in the past ....... Or what's about to happen to the interest rates at your bank next time they change in the future ............ no you need to think what does that light look like right now ? What is happening right here right now ........ I think it's a good mental discipline to live in the present time........ It has a certain zen quality for me ........ Others will say not ...... but for me I love that real time involvement of the right now ...................... I was walking Ringo up on Primrose Hill looking out across the City early in the morning yesterday .......... The moon slightly bizarrely just started to be visible through the clouds ........ Im not sure it even makes the image better for having the moon .......... But it was kind of odd ........ Others may have been considering their promotion prospects or their old boyfriends and completely oblivious to light and clouds as they crossed the park ........ But I was watching the visibility of the moon at that moment in time ........ I was able to take my small Sony NEX7 out of my pocket........... make the picture just as the moon showed for 30 seconds through the otherwise dense cloud ..... :-))))))))))
