Its been a while since I was this far North in the UK ......... Im pretty well as far North as you can go and still be in England ......... Maryport in Cumbria ......... I rolled up here from London it took most of my day ........ its a fair old way........ feels more like a US distance than a UK one ......... I just about made it by the end of daylight ....... with just the slightest hint of light left in the sky ........... so I could just about see out a little across the Irish Sea ........ if you are here on a clear day apparently you can see Ireland and Scotland and the Isle of Man so a passer by assured me :-)) ......... but the way I timed it I was lucky to even see the Sea at all :-))))))))))))) XXXXXXX.
