It's Margaret Thatchers funeral today........ I can't help it........ I hope it goes off with out too much disturbance ...... I was never a big fan .......... but I feel Britain's first woman Prime Minister deserves a funeral without incident ...... it seems oddly devoid of politics to protest at her death . ........ it just seems to be in poor taste....... especially to party and celebrate ...... like some I have seen on TV ........ celebrating and protesting now......... at this moment as even the Iron Lady comes to an all to human end ....... just seems to me inappropriate

Back In my youth she was like the Ice Queen dominating our lives .......... I couldn't quite believe it when she was finally deposed......... before it almost felt like she would go on for a thousand years .......... Shortly after her fall I went round to her new house pretty well opposite the House of Commons........ a direct replacement for No 10 ....... It was like she was having trouble excepting what had happened herself ............... I went there to shoot this picture for the Telegraph......... it was a surreal experience............ unfortunately I was so freaked by her ......... I failed to really make anything remotely spectacular........ hey I was kid ....... and she was the Ice Queen ...........
