So the hotels internet failed at 1AM .......... who wants the internet after 1AM? ......... said the woman on the desk ......... Fair point I suppose ......... except I virtually always want / need the internet after 1AM ............ I guess kind of revealing what a deeply tragic individual I am ......... I virtually never blog before then ............

Earlier on I had gone into in a few gun shops and pawn shops that sell guns on my way out of Dallas ......... but they were none of them keen to allow me to photograph inside and show the weapons they were selling ........... I thought it might make a good image for 'National Gun appreciation Day' coming up today Saturday ........... But the truth is the people working in the gun shops I spoke to did not really know anything about 'National Gun Appreciation Day' ............. and certain did not seem to be proudly celebrating it ............

Pawn shops are really a phenomena I know nothing about .......... they all seem kind of vibrant operations and all seemed to be doing pretty good business ........... maybe they are secretly the beating heart of the US economy.......... without me ever noticing ..............
