Reminiscing about a time long gone in Berlin........... "walking the dead"............ David Bowie hits a rather sad and subtle note.......... he has a deep melancholy in his latest single release : 'Where are we now?' that came out today ......... his loyal fans were so happy to hear the ultimate artist has released something new........ they all skipped about and didn't seem to worry that it sounded to me at least like an ultimate goodbye number .............. hopefully I am wrong ......... he will be releasing tracks for many years ........ and he looked fine on the vid........ if a tiny bit down.........

The image above is a little sad German reminiscing for me too ............ Here is a portrait I made of depressed looking brown coal miners........... These guys were recruits to the once feared East German Stazi ...... the all powerful secret police.......... They were not too happy at their reduced status in life as now they were forced to work as coal miners after the fall of the Berlin Wall ..............
